Wengi Digital was founded by Richard Zulu and Brian Ochan, driven by a shared belief that technical excellence and expanded access to opportunity should go hand in hand. With decades of combined experience in software development, entrepreneurship, and community building, they set out to build a studio where quality work and long-term impact reinforce each other.

Richard Zulu: With a deep background in software engineering, Richard has been at the forefront of Uganda's tech ecosystem for over a decade. As the founder of Outbox, a leading innovation hub in Kampala, he has helped shape startups, mentor engineers, and strengthen the region's technology landscape. His experience in building sustainable ecosystems informs how we approach long-term capability and responsibility in our work.

Brian Ochan: Brian brings extensive experience in product delivery and software engineering, having led teams across local and international contexts. His focus on clarity, quality, and alignment between technology and business ensures our partners receive solutions that endure beyond initial delivery. His commitment to creating real opportunities for disadvantaged engineers is foundational to how Wengi Digital operates.
